webfact develops a revolutionary user-generated video-platform for Germany´s TV-Major Sat1/Pro7 Media. Main purpose of the platform is to give User´s the opportunity to upload videos about practical everyday-life challenges such as how to make coffee, how to set-up furniture or other practical advise on basically everything. Users can upload Videos after registration and relate them into different categories.

The video-upload technology contains:

Upload engine for all common video-files such as mpeg, mov and avi
Convert-engine
Video segmentation tool
Auto-video-preview picture selection for users from the film
Integrated video-advertisement system After having uploaded the video, the Sat1 editorial team checks the uploaded material and publishes it on the platform. All videos are then available in the corresponding categories for all platform visitors.
