Aggro Berlin has been founded in 2001 by Specter, Spaiche and Halil. As one of the first Artists Aggro signed Sido & B-Tight. Later followed by Superstar Bushido.

The label is known and famous mostly for its controversial lyrics and themes. Artists have been in the critics for the attitude of their songs toward women and gays. Many Songs and Aggro Samplers that have been on the cencored list in Germany ever since the Label’s start.

In 2004, Sido’s debut album, “Maske”, sold more than 100,000 copies in less than a month. In September of that year, the rapper won a prestigious German music award for “Best Newcomer”.
